Fox Cable Networks and DISH Network Strike Deal to Deliver Fox Soccer Channel in High Definition

Featured Programming Includes England’s Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and Italy’s Serie A

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2010 – Fox Cable Networks announced it has reached an agreement with DISH Network to carry the popular Fox Soccer Channel in high definition. The service launched today as Fox Soccer Channel continues to strengthen its position as the premier television destination for world-class soccer.

Fox Soccer Channel HD will be located on channel 149 and is included in DISH Network’s America’s Top 250 package. Some of the more than 3,500 hours of programming that soccer fans will enjoy in high definition includes England’s Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, Major League Soccer, and Women’s Professional Soccer.

Studio shows planned for high definition include: Fox Soccer Match Day, Super Sunday+, Fox Football Fone-In, and World Cup programming.
