multi-platform coverage of the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League group
stages continues on Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus and FOX Sports
Net (FSN) with Matchday 3 on Tuesday, Oct. 19 and Wednesday, Oct. 20 at
2 p.m. ET.
Reigning title-holder FC Internazionale Milano as well as European
powerhouses Real Madrid CF, AC Milan and Manchester United FC are among
the elite teams featured on the Fox family of networks’ live and
exclusive English-language HD match telecasts. In addition, fans can
enjoy live coverage on partners FOX Deportes and DIRECTV,
Matchday 3 kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 19 live on Fox Soccer Channel as Real
Madrid CF – boasting a record nine UEFA Champions League crowns - hosts
AC Milan, which has captured more international titles (18) than any
club in the world. Simultaneously on FSN, Arsenal FC heads to Ukraine
for a battle with FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Finally, live on Fox Soccer Plus,
current Dutch Eredivise leader AFC Ajax collides with AJ Auxerre, a club
still looking for its first win of the group stages.
On Wednesday, Oct. 20, live action continues with a Fox Soccer Channel
showdown between English giant Manchester United FC and reigning Turkish
Super League champion Bursaspor. Meanwhile, Fox Soccer Plus showcases a
face-off between five-time defending Italian Serie A champion FC
Internazionale Milano and Tottenham Hotspur FC, which pounded FC Twente
4-1 on Matchday 2.
UEFA Champions League Pregame, presented by Geico, kicks off the
continued coverage of the best and most challenging club soccer
competition in the world on The Ultimate Soccer NetworksTM and FSN.
Featuring a breakdown of the day’s upcoming action from host Eric
Wynalda and in-depth analysis from Warren Barton and Christopher
Sullivan, the live 30-minute studio program simulcasts on FSN, Fox
