announced the release of its entirely re-engineered and redesigned website:
www.smartsource.com. The site includes even more enhanced functionality for
users, as well as increased security measures for its manufacturing clients.
Perhaps the most exciting new development is the improved support of social
media, allowing consumers to receive coupon updates via Twitter at
http://twitter.com/SmartSourceCpns.
The SmartSource online network is the largest source of online grocery and
health and beauty care coupons on the Internet, offering between 80 and 100
coupons at any given time. The coupons represent major News America clients
such as General Mills, Kimberly Clark, Kraft and Unilever, among others. The
site also powers coupons on consumer-packaged goods sites such as ConAgra
Foods, Church and Dwight, Whitewave Foods, Land O’ Lakes and many others.

The upgraded site is powered by Java, a technology platform that is highly
portable and extremely user-friendly. The new SmartSource.com supports a
wider range of web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari
and Chrome, providing functionality to approximately 99% of identified
Internet users.
Consumers aren’t the only ones who should appreciate the changes; the
upgrade provides improved security for advertisers, including hardware-
printer detection that eliminates the possibility of virtual-printer usage.
In addition, the new site supports dynamic generation of GS1 bar codes in
compliance with industry standards for the 2010 GS1 Sunrise date.
